I am an attorney. I defend the poor who cannot afford the "paid" lawyers. Well, that's the theory. Some like me so much that they lie about their income.
I don't believe in the death penalty as it stands, or locking people up for crimes they have yet to commit. I am now a special PD who deals with the State trying to incarcerate and force treatment on a class of men who might or might not commit future crimes.
I am divorced. I have lost a child. But, like the women in my family, I am resilient. I'm kinda like the "I'm rubber you're glue" girl. I tend toward the vamp, being a tall redhead. I love wine, so much so that I collect it. I drink it, too. Reds, mostly. I love cartoons. zim, futurama, simpson, cowboy bebop, penny arcade, white ninja, EVANGELION. I could go on and on...
I am unabashedly an elitest. Most who know me well would call me a snob, and smile about it. I am. I do not apologize for my hedonistic tendencies. My goal in life is to make me happy. Whatever that means.
I have remarried and had a child. A little boy, Keenan. I have been given a second chance so many times - fathers, husbands, children - I try to give others that chance.
I am now 33, and enjoying the hell out of this journey.
